Description:
Midnight Recordings, a local independent dance music record label asked me to evolve their logo and sleeve designs. I designed their previous identity some years ago and they wanted a face-lift. The new logo features re-cuts of the original elements to retain recognition. The sleeves feature old apollo images of the moon, printed with a silver 5th colour, and a fluorescent 6th colour that changes for each sleeve.

Description:
The article for GHD Icons magazine brought five hairstyles from international fashion shows to the reader and talked them through how to get the look. As the concept was so sinister the outcome had to be executed very carefully, although the models are gagged and bound their confidence and beauty shine through.

The project won a gold in the National Fresh Big F for best use of photography, after winning a gold in the previous regional awards.

This article for GHD Icons magazine focused on handbags from the likes of Fendi, Patrick Cox and Louis Vuitton. The shoot has already taken place and I was handed a disk filled with images of naked women holding handbags and given the simple brief of 'make them not look pervy'.

GHD wanted a 'stylebook', to leave around in salons. At the time GHD called it's customers 'Urban Angels', so the visual style was based on that theme. The book was printed A3 portrait with 4 throw-out pages on gloss stock and finished with a UV lamination.

Description:
Working with photographer James Stroud, we were asked to explore some of Britains sub-cultures and take portraits of the wierd and wonderful people within them. We visited Fetish, Burlesque, Punk and Gothic festivals and captured a range of people on-site. The book design has a half sized black colourplan jacket, with black foil print, and cover is blank, hinting at the anonymity of some of it's subjects.

Description:
I was asked to create a web site for the newly renovated Yorkshire Craft Centre. The Centre was not attracting visitors, as although it had just received National Lottery funding to renovate the building, it was hidden away from the street and could not be seen by passers by. The resulting site used large images of the buildings architectural details and clean clear typography that represented the Centres' interior signage and typography. The site won a Mando Group Web Site Design of the Year Award and was features in Create Online, Computer Arts and New Media Creative magazines.

Mirari are range of premium designer kitchens and wanted a brochure design to. I wanted to keep the brochure clean and understated with high production values. The brochure is hard bound, covered with black colourplan stock and has de-bossed title and graphics on the cover. The interior is printed high-gloss with special silver on type and throw-out pages that keep heavy content hidden away.
